Scandi Modern Apartment - Bondi

This apartment was designed to embody a sense of calm, refinement, and timeless character. The concept focused on layering soft textures, muted tones, and natural materials to create a cohesive and welcoming home.

The living room features a blush velvet sofa paired with sculptural boucle armchairs and circular coffee tables, creating a warm, modern lounge area. Built-in shelving in a powdery blue adds visual structure while remaining soft and minimal. The overall palette and material choices were selected to feel light yet grounded.

In the bedroom, a custom upholstered headboard in dusty rose brings warmth, complemented by soft grey walls, layered textiles, and full-length curtains for a serene, cocooned atmosphere. Brass lighting elements add subtle contrast and elegance.

The kitchen and dining area blend functionality with curated design details — from the warm walnut cabinetry and fluted overhead panel to the checkerboard tile backsplash. A sculptural dining table and mid-century–inspired chairs continue the natural, refined language of the apartment.

Throughout the home, chevron oak flooring connects the spaces with warmth and flow. A painted ceiling mural in the corridor adds a playful yet sophisticated detail — a moment of art within an otherwise serene palette.

This design balances modern simplicity with layered textures and carefully considered details, offering a soft yet distinctive take on contemporary living.
